Handgun: Low Light

Prerequisite: Handgun Fundamentals or Equivalent

Handgun Low Light concentrates on the foundational skills to be able to operate a handgun, in low or no light situations. Skills trained will be target identification, techniques in the use of handheld flashlights, weapon mounted lights and reloading. Important fundamentals like grip, sight picture/sight alignment, and trigger management will be emphasized.

Although this class is taught by NRA and OPOTA Certified firearm Instructors, it is not an NRA Certified class. Upon completion of the class, you will receive a Vance Outdoors Certificate of Completion, signed by your instructors.

For this class you will need a reliable pistol, strong side holster, magazine carrier, spare magazines (we recommend at least 3), sturdy belt, eye, and ear protection, a handheld flashlight or weapon mounted light along with 200 rounds of ammunition.
