This Ladies Only course is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive environment where women can learn the fundamentals of pistol shooting. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build confidence with your firearm, this class will give you the foundation you need.

The Vance Outdoors Ladies-Only Introduction to Handgun Course includes 3 hours of classroom instruction and 1 hour of range time, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned in a practical setting. This entry-level course is perfect for those new to handguns, ensuring you become familiar with your firearm and develop safe gun-handling skills.

What You Will Learn:

• Safe Gun Handling Rules
• Proper terminology and parts of a pistol
• Different types of ammunition and their uses
• Correct shooting grip
• Sight alignment and sight picture techniques
• Trigger control for accurate shooting
• Proper shooting stance and positioning
• How to safely load and unload a pistol

Our experienced NRA Certified Pistol Instructors will guide you through each step in a relaxed, judgment-free atmosphere. While this is not an NRA-certified course, upon completion, you will receive a Vance Outdoors Certificate of Completion, signed by your instructor and the Vance Outdoors Training Coordinator.
