Workshop Wednesday: Saturday Edition

This is a SATURDAY edition

The Vance Outdoors Workshop Wednesday Course consists of one hour in the classroom and one hour on the shooting range. This is an entry level class for the novice/first time pistol owner to become familiarized with safe pistol handling and shooting. All the following will be discussed, demonstrated and experienced:

• Proper shooting grips
• Proper sight alignment and sight picture
• Proper trigger control
• How to safely load and unload the pistol

You will have the opportunity to shoot on our range to put the skills taught in the classroom to practical use. Although this class is taught by NRA Certified Pistol Instructors, it is not an NRA Certified class. Upon completion of the class, you will receive a Vance Outdoors Certificate of Completion, signed by your instructor and the Vance Outdoors Training Coordinator.

The price for this class is $25. Students will need a reliable pistol, (we recommend one spare magazine), eye and ear protection, and 50 rounds of ammunition.
