Training Class

Prerequisite: Defensive Handgun Level 2, or other equal experience/training, with prior approval

This is the third level of our five level series of Defensive Handgun. This session is dedicated to low light shooting. Remember, over 60% of all assaults happen at night or in low light environments, will you be prepared? The skills learned in Levels 1 2 will be put to use in this class with the added complexity of performing them in little or no light. Proper use of flashlight skills will be taught, how to effectively use your handheld and/or weapon mounted light to your advantage to limit your exposure/risk and to be in your advantage against your opponent. There will be a classroom presentation on several light options including handheld and weapon mounted. Flashlights will be offered to attendees at a discounted rate, and/or with manufacturer special promotions.

Like Defensive Handgun Level-1 2, multiple magazines (minimum of 3), a strong side hip holster, spare magazine carrier (as applicable) and sturdy belt are required. In addition to Levels 1 2 a handheld flashlight is required. A weapon mounted light is optional (with a weapon mounted light, a handheld light is still required) Round Count is approximately 300.
