(5 out of 5) Great CCW Pistol!
by from Columbus, OH on

I bought one of these for concealed carry. Took it to the range, and consistently shot 2" groups at 15 ft., which is fine for a CCW. Really impressed with it. Also purchased a DeSantis Super Fly pocket hoster for the LCP. Excellent combination. Overall, a great pistol. Id recommend it to anyone who might be interested in one.

Good quality, small weight, almost no kick. Great for ccw

Gun never jammed, good for very close range but not accurate with shot. I like my other pistols better.

(5 out of 5) Love this gun
by from COLUMBUS, Ohio on

Ive had this gun for almost 2 years now. It is very reliable, easy to carry, and I shoot it very well. I have big hands and can wrap more around it than most people. It is simple and straight forward. I absolutely love this gun!

(4 out of 5) Good for its Purpose
by from Plain City, OH on

This is for CHL close defense. Dont expect immediate accuracy, as it takes a little time to master. Bit of a kick, but you have to expect that due to its size. But, I did not buy this for any reason other than a close-in personal defense weapon, easy to carry and highly concealable. If your looking for a CHL gun or BUG, I recommend this gun. Put several rounds through out of the box without any issues.

(5 out of 5) Perfect CCW
by from Columbus, OH on

This can be pocket carried daily, even in summer. It never jams and is as accurate as youd need for its purpose. Exactly what you need for daily carrying.

(5 out of 5) Best ccw of all time
by from Lancaster, Ohio on

There is no better ccw pistol on the market. Small, light, and can carry under any circumstance. This is a reliable and trustworthy pistol. Great staff at vances in obetz! Very satisfied.

(5 out of 5) Ruger LCP
by from Pataskala, Ohio on

I found it to be extremely accurate. Pros: Light weight, small, easy to conceal in pocket or wherever you choose. Cons: Extremely long trigger pull. Overall: For the price, this is an awesome backup gun, for pocket or ankle holstering. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

(5 out of 5) Awesome pocket pistol
by from Pataskala, ohio on

This is great for a pocket or ankle holster. Shoots spot on. The only thing I have to get used to is the long trigger pull, and the slide doesn't lock back. But it is super accurate at 15 feet. Going to try it at 25 yards next.

(5 out of 5) Ideal ccw
by from Grove city, Ohio on

Bought this today and I'm by no means let down. Even with my pinky off firing its better than I expected from a pocket carry. It actually imprints less than my wallet does. If your know the basic fundamentals of shooting this will not let you down. I did a lot of research on this before I purchased it. You will not find anything better for the price $209 is a steal!!! Vance's is about $60 to $80 cheaper than other major gun stores in columbus and surrounding area.

(5 out of 5) My first store bought pistol.
by from Washington C.H, OH on

First off I want to thank Bob and Jim at the Obetz location they went above and beyond in assisting me with this purchase along with the knowledge of how to buy a firearm for the first time in a store. They assisted me from tha background check to recommendation of specific products, and Im happy to say that i consider these guys not just top notch sales men or customer service professionals but just two new buddies i had the pleasure of meeting. However this is not my first firearm the others I have are hand me downs from my grandfather, this is however the first firearm I can say is all mine, bought with my own money and I couldnt be happier. Along with the firearm I bought a hogue grip due to the guns reputation for being snappy although it turns out that this little shooter is a very pleasant shooter just as much as my grandpas old Colt 25 acp, and it feeds everything I give it to eat, no misfires, jams, or failures of any kind after a brutal 2050 rounds of high end ammo to budget

by from Columbus, Ohio on

I was not sure at first that Ruger would make a great CHL arm but they do. Over look the price. This little mouse gun is great and conceals real well. I know 9mm is preferred for many people but the .380 with hollow point is good in summer and as a backup. I carried everywhere legally inside the waist with a De Santis N87/T7 with an extra magazine pouch integrated in the holster and it's a sure fit. Wanna carry light? Can't go wrong with this combo. This is a great jogging carry. Plus, with an extra magazine, you have backup ammo. I really think this is great, especially for joggers.

Perfect pocket carry. Amazing price. Don't leave home without it!

I've owned my LCP for a long time. My only complaint is a little slippery in your hand you have to be careful when shooting to hold on tight. Simple fix I added 1.25 mag finger extension and a Hogue slide on grip most impressive to shoot now, still easy CCW gun to carry. Good bang for the buck pun intended.
