Vance Outdoors offers FFL transfer services for firearms purchased online or from out-of-state dealers. Our FFL transfer fee is $50 per firearm* ($125 for NFA items), and we strive to make the process as smooth and hassle-free as possible.

Once your firearm has arrived at our store, we will promptly contact you to schedule a pick-up time that works for you. Our knowledgeable staff is also available to answer any questions you may have regarding the transfer process.

Read below for step-by-step instructions on how to have a firearm transferred to a Vance Outdoors location.

How to have a firearm transferred to Vance Outdoors from another dealer:

  1. Find the firearm you are wanting to have transferred to Vance Outdoors.
  2. Have your dealer contact us for a copy of our FFL. We cannot accept transfers from non-FFL dealers. All FFLs can be sent to shop@vanceoutdoors.com. Please be sure that your order number is referenced.
  3. Once your firearm is shipped to Vance Outdoors, please allow 24-48 hours for inventory processing. You will receive a call when your order is ready at our store. If you have not received a phone call from us pertaining to your firearm transfer, then your order is not ready for pickup.
  4. Please bring a copy of your invoice with billing information when picking up your firearm transfer.

* The $50 transfer fee applies to the first firearm being transferred. If multiple firearms are being transferred, there will be an additional $25 assessed per firearm.
