Built with hunters in mind, the 350 Legend is the fastest straight-walled hunting cartridge available while offering more energy, less recoil and increased penetration over many of its competitors. Combining the 350 Legend on-game performance with the feature-rich Mossberg Patriot bolt-action rifle makes this duo a great choice for deer, feral hogs, black bear and other medium-size game. Deer hunting opportunities are also expanded in areas where straight-walled cartridges are now allowed in previously-restricted (slug-shotgun, handgun and muzzleloader) zones.

Patriot bolt-action rifles feature a well-designed stock with straight comb; rounded edges; raised cheek piece; and black rubber recoil pad. Constructed of durable synthetic, the stock has textured stippling on the grip and the three surface areas of the forend for a solid grip. The standard contour 22-inch carbon steel barrel is free-floating, features a 1:16 twist rate and matte blue finish. Completing these offerings are Mossberg’s LBA user-adjustable trigger (2 to 7-pound range of adjustment); spiral-fluted bolt;streamlined and checkered bolt handle; receiver-mounted, weaver-style scope bases;sling swivel studs; and 4-round box magazine.

With decreased muzzle blast and extremely low recoil, the Mossberg Patriot Synthetic chambered in 350 Legend makes for a more enjoyable experience in the field without sacrificing performance.

I could not be happier with this gun. In my opinion this is a solid built gun!! The accuracy is absolutely awesome, using the Winchester 180 grain PowerPoint. I was able to put a deer on the ground within the first couple weeks of owning this, and it did the job, above and beyond. Super happy I made the purchase!

I purchased this rifle last year the day after Thanksgiving 2019. I do love the rifle but I had trouble getting it sighted in. I found that the scope that came on it, the screws were loose Nd the barrel was not free floating. I switched scopes and sanded the stock under the barrel where the barrel hit the stock, now it is a tack driver. These were minor problems, if you buybthis rifle, just check the scope mounts and make sure the barrel is free floating.

Bought on Monday, range on Friday, Monday first day of gun season, 10:30 am, one shot, 100 yards dead deer. Worked well, shot straight and easy. Scope clean and clear. Excellent deal!!! Very happy with everything.

Bought this for the low recoil and curiosity about caliber. The rifle out of the box is very impressive for a low budget rifle. That's where it ends. After changing scopes 3 times, in hopes that was the problem, I got the same results! Shotgun pattern! Tried 2 different bullet weights and shot 40 rounds with very poor results. Would put a picture of best group but doesn't give that option. Just very bad group. I guess I'm stuck because I have already heard Mossberg is not going to help.

No reflection on Vance Outdoors they were great to deal with. My advice: buy a different rifle!
