At first, you have to put some high velocity shells into it to break it in or else it won’t cycle the next round and it will jam. If you’re not ready, it’ll knock you back a couple steps. I found Federal shells to be the best working with the gun but haven’t been able to find anything else due to the shortage. It’s a great gun overall and very fun to shoot. 10/10

This is my 2nd shotgun. My 1st is an old school Mossberg. This Citadel Boss is a must have! The kick is pretty stout, but if you lean in a little its definitely manageable. The only downside is that its a boogie with ammo. It prefers the higher speed/quality shells, even after break in.

by from Canal winchester, Ohio on

Couldn't get it to fire more than 3 shells before it would jam. Tried all kinds of loads. Tried a 20rd drum too with no better results than issued MAG. After 100 rounds something broke internally and will now only fire 1 round, chambers 2nd round but only clicks when trigger is pulled. Junk imo.

(5 out of 5) Be ready when you pull the trigger

When you let this dog off the leash it will let you know real quick that is a 12 gauge. I tested numerous types and brands of ammo. As long as you use recommended velocity, I had no issues. This thing is definitely a beast. Mags are plentiful and interchangeable. I have the 5 round mags as well as 10 round mags. This weapon is definitely worth the money.
