The HM Defense Avenger M308 is a semi-automatic rifle designed for the most demanding of shooters. With its patented Monobloc™ barrel featuring an integrally machined adjustable gas block, the Avenger M308 delivers outstanding accuracy with every shot. The rifle is chambered in 308 Win/7.62 NATO, and the 4150 Chromoly barrel is 18 inches in length with a 1:10 twist ratio and a rifle-length gas system, making it perfect for long-range shooting.
The Avenger M308 also features a custom HM Defense 14-inch, free float 1913 Picatinny rail CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, which is compatible with the Magpul M-LOK mounting system. The billet 7075-T6 upper receiver includes a forward assist, M4-style feed ramps, and a 1913 Picatinny rail flat top, while the HM10 billet lower receiver is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and includes unique HM design elements.
Other features of the Avenger M308 include a 10-round .308 Win/7.62 NATO magazine, an AR-10 Bolt Carrier Group, a 3.0 lb. Enhanced drop-in trigger, an enhanced grip, an extended AR-10 charging handle, and a custom Mil-Spec HM stock. The rifle weighs 8lb 14oz, making it easy to handle and maneuver, and it comes in a Cerakote Midnight Tungsten finish that looks as great as it performs.
This one stands out amongst the AR-10s. The integrated gas block, along with the vastly improved bolt design, make for one of the most robust 308 platforms you can find. Excellent starting point for a mid to long range precision rifle package. Because of its unique features in reliability, you can run virtually any quality ammunition through it and still achieve remarkable performance.
