I purchased the full-size Ruger Security-9 with two 15-round magazines and the Hi-Viz Night Sights at Vance's sale price, and it has been every bit as reliable as the Glocks and Sigs that I have owned, for a much lower cost. I’ve shot about 350 rounds so far and have had zero malfunctions of any kind. The gun fed three different kinds of FMJ, 124g and 147g, as well as three kinds of hollow points of various weights. It’s quite accurate and only needs a slight adjustment to the front sight to shoot dead on target. The night sights are bright and easy to see. I did polish the feed ramp before using the gun and would suggest this for other buyers. It’s a great gun at a great price. Plus, Ruger has a great service reputation, so what’s not to like.
