These Henry rifles are made-to-order and are not currently in stock.

Production lead time on this firearm is days. If ordered by July 31st, estimated delivery time is mid December, before Christmas.

Choosing your serial number:

  • You can enter your personalized serial number during the checkout process.
  • There is a 12 Character Max-Limit - no dashes or spaces. Must be alpha-numeric (At least one letter and one number).
  • The letter O is not permitted as part of a serial number. The number zero (0) is permitted, but must be combined with another numerical digit 1-9
  • The ATF requires at least one numeric digit within the serial number.
  • If ordering more than one of the same model, please remember that each firearm must have its own unique serial number.
  • Please choose an acceptable second choice serial number. In the event that your first choice is unavailable, this will prevent any delays in making your firearm.
  • Important: All sales of Henry Heirloom rifle are final. Henry Heirloom models and serial number choices cannot be altered or modified once an order is placed with Henry. Please ensure that you select the correct model and provide 2 serial numbers in accordance with the above.

The show may have been short-lived, but the legend of the Mare’s Leg never faded. Today, that iconic firearm lives on in the H1 Mare’s Leg Pistol, a rimfire lever-action pistol built in the spirit and style of the original, equal parts nostalgia, craftsmanship, and pure shooting enjoyment.

Made in the USA to Henry's exacting standards, the H1 Mare’s Leg Pistol is offered in .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle and .22 Magnum, giving shooters the option to choose between maximum versatility or a little extra punch. Both chamberings benefit from the smooth, reliable Henry lever action, delivering fast follow-up shots and an unmistakably satisfying shooting experience.

Each H1 Mare’s Leg features American walnut furniture shaped to echo the profile of the original television gun, paired with a large loop lever for quick, intuitive cycling. A receiver-mounted saddle ring adds authentic Western character, while the compact design makes the Mare’s Leg exceptionally handy. Weighing just over four pounds and measuring approximately 25 inches overall, it’s light, portable, and easy to carry.

While best known for its fun factor, today’s outdoorsmen also appreciate the H1 Mare’s Leg as a practical tool for working a trap line or handling close-range tasks where portability matters. The 12.875″ blued steel barrel is topped with fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights and a hooded front sight, and the grooved receiver allows for easy optic mounting if desired.
