For more than 150 years, the lever action has evolved through incremental advances in materials, engineering, and manufacturing. Now, starting from a clean sheet of paper, Henry Repeating Arms’ design engineers have reimagined the time-honored platform for a new era: the Lever Action Supreme Rifle (LASR).
Engineered from the ground up, the LASR combines patented innovations with the classic lever-action experience to deliver exceptional accuracy, reliability, and safety. At its heart is a patented quad-bar linkage and slider-crank mechanism that drives a multi-lug rotating bolt for smooth cycling, positive lockup, extraction, and ejection. An internal hammer keeps the action’s moving parts protected from dust, dirt, and debris when closed.
The LASR features a free-floated blued steel barrel capable of sub-MOA accuracy, depending on cartridge and conditions. Available chamberings include .223/5.56 with an 18" barrel, .300 BLK with a 16.5" barrel, and .450 Bushmaster with an 18" barrel. The latter brings a hard-hitting, straight-wall hunting option to the platform, particularly useful in states with straight-wall cartridge restrictions. A match-grade, user-adjustable 4-pound trigger provides a consistent pull, while a threaded muzzle accommodates suppressors.
Target acquisition is enhanced by a patent-pending, fully adjustable trapezoidal rear sight and steel front blade. The aerospace-grade aluminum receiver is also drilled and tapped for an optics base. When maintenance is needed, familiar punch-pin disassembly makes cleaning straightforward.
True to Henry tradition, the LASR features genuine American Walnut stocks with precise diamond checkering, factory sling swivel studs, and a solid rubber recoil pad. Ambidextrous controls include a tang safety and patent-pending magazine release, with the safety positioned for intuitive hammer decocking.
The Supreme ships with a detachable 10-round magazine: a Magpul® PMAG® for .223/5.56 and .300 BLK, or a DuraMag Stainless Steel 10-round magazine for .450 Bushmaster. Compatible MSR-style magazines offer additional capacity. The detachable box magazine also eliminates the bullet-length restrictions associated with traditional tube magazines.
