In developing the Bear’s Leg, we paid close attention to the way modern lever guns are being set up in the real world: lights, red dots, accessories, shooting suppressed, and adapting rifles to more specialized roles. Despite its more modern configuration, the Bear’s Leg remains unmistakably Henry. A large loop lever supports confident operation, including with gloved hands, while the side loading gate allows the magazine tube to be topped off without interrupting use when a suppressor is installed.
