Spyderco’s unique “CruCarta” theme combines the traditional look of brown canvas Micarta® scales with CPM® CRU-WEAR® blade steel. This classic pairing of old-school, high-performance materials is beautifully showcased in this elite expression of the Military™ 2. Its full-flat-ground, satin-finished blade takes full advantage of CPM CRU-WEAR’s advanced alloy composition to deliver exceptional edge retention and toughness. The knife’s easy-to-clean, open-backed handle is built with full, skeletonized stainless steel liners that form the foundation of its high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism. The liners also support smooth, unpolished Micarta scales that will naturally patina with handling to develop their own unique character. To ensure convenient carry and immediate access, the handle includes a polished four-position hourglass clip that can be configured for left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. The clip is complemented by a generously sized lanyard hole to allow the easy attachment of fobs and lanyards.
