Product Description

LANTAC E-BCG® Gen2 DI Side Charger, Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group for .223/5.56 Caliber. This bolt carrier group will not work in standard AR-15 upper receivers. It must be used with a side charging upper receiver. For guaranteed fit, we recommend our LA-N15™ Raven™ Side Charging Billet Upper Receiver.

  • M16 full-auto style design for increased mass and lock time
  • Precision machined from 8620 steel
  • Shot peened bolt made from Carpenter 158 or 9310 steel
  • Magnetically Particle Inspected (MPI) bolt
  • Entire carrier assembly is QPQ nitrided for enhanced corrosion and wear resistance
  • Patented carrier design with shrouded, forward-facing gas ports
  • Re-sized gas ports vent gas differently than standard carriers
  • Runs flatter with a smoother energy pulse
  • Operates cooler and cleaner
  • Reduces upper receiver pressurization when running suppressed barrels
  • Flared carrier tail boss improves lock-up consistency and accuracy
  • Critical dimensions are hard turned and ground after heat treatment
  • Gas key is hard chrome lined for superior wear resistance
  • Includes LANTAC CP-R360™ patent-pending domed head cam pin
  • Cam pin machined from 17-4PH stainless steel and hardened to H900 condition (~45RC)
  • Ultra-smooth cam pin head reduces wear inside the upper receiver
  • Gas key properly staked at four points
  • Built using Grade 8 fasteners throughout assembly
