The Faxon Firearms Match Series 16" Flame Fluted barrel is built for shooters who want match-grade accuracy with reliable performance in hard use. Made in-house from 416-R stainless steel and cut with 5R button rifling, this .223 Wylde chambered AR-15 barrel is engineered to reduce jacket deformation, promote consistent velocity, and simplify cleaning. A salt bath nitride (QPQ) treatment inside and out improves wear and corrosion resistance, while the Nickel Teflon–coated M4 extension enhances dry lubricity and helps tighten fit between the barrel extension and receiver for improved consistency. With a mid-length gas system and 1:8 twist rate, it offers smooth cycling and broad bullet-weight compatibility for competition, training, or duty-focused builds.
