Powered by the Nitro-Piston 2 powerplant, the Black Lightning is surprisingly easy to cock due to a centralized pivot point that makes it easy to get leverage. Once you load up your round, you’ll be shocked by how hard this rifle slings your pellets. Shooters can expect up to 1,400 fps with alloy pellets and 1,150 fps with lead pellets. These speeds deliver 23 FPE to targets and make the Black Lightning ideal for target shooting and small game hunting. Lightning never strikes twice in the same place, but your shots certainly can! Without the vibration of a traditional spring, the Black Lightning is twice as accurate as traditional springers, a fact you can immediately put to the test with the included spinning target. A baffled barrel keeps the Lightning’s volume turned town for backyard shooting sessions.

Each of these rifles comes with a CenterPoint 4x32 scope for quickly acquiring your target and includes integrated sling studs for attaching a sling. With a combined weight of 7.6 lbs. scoped, the Lightning provides enough heft to create a stable platform without being a burden. The all-weather stock features soft-touch inserts for an easy comfortable grip. Each includes the all-new enhanced 2-stage Clean Break Trigger (CBT) that breaks cleanly and predictably. If all of this isn’t enough, this airgun is assembled by American workers in Crosman`s manufacturing headquarters in Bloomfield, New York.
