Vance Outdoors Training Defensive Handgun : Advanced

This is the second level of training in the Vance Outdoors Defensive Handgun Series. This class will continue to reinforce the fundamentals learned in previous training as well as add a new level of skills.

Advanced Defensive Handgun will emphasize movement, or what we know as “getting off the X”. In the real world, encounters are not in a one-way area, where individuals have the luxury of standing still. You might have to move toward cover or move around an object. Vance Outdoors instructors will teach you how to shoot on the move and how to properly use cover and concealment.

For this class you will need a reliable pistol, strong side holster, magazine carrier, spare magazines (we recommend at least 3), sturdy belt, eye and ear protection, and 350 rounds of ammunition.
