Tisas 1911 Carry pistol is a modernized version of the venerable 1911 pistol. The pistol features a hammer forged slide with front and rear slide serrations; double stack magazines; hammer forged, steel full-size frame; accessory rail; titanium firing pin; flared and lowered ejection port; skeletonized hammer and trigger; ambidextrous extended safety; Low-Profile Sights, Novak Style Cut and Series 70 Internals.

Includes two magazines, cleaning kit, owners manual, waterproof and lockable hard case with fitted cut foam insert.

I decided to jump in and buy my first 2011-style pistol. Overall, it’s a nice handgun. Fit and finish are really nice for a $500 sale gun ($750 MSRP). It does have a bit of a heavy trigger pull, but with a new mainspring and a little sear work, I got it down to just over 4 lbs from close to 7 lbs. Also, the grips are a little slippery, but they can easily be swapped for SA Prodigy grips. I’d recommend it if you’re on the fence about buying one. As always, a smooth, easy transaction from the Hebron location.
