Ruger MAX-9 9mm Optic Ready Semi-Auto Pistol

After putting one hundred rounds through my newly purchased Max-9, I am very impressed. It functioned flawlessly with 50 rounds each of 124 and 147 gr FMJ ammo. I shot targets at 15, 20, 25, and 30 feet and was accurate at all distances. Recoil was even less than I had expected. I will try some HP next time, but expect no issues. The detail, fit, and finish of the gun is excellent and equals that of handguns that cost much more. Even the Ruger mags are well made. Only flaw is the slide release lever is a bit small, so pulling back to rack the slide works better. An outstanding gun for a small price that I will be happy to make my ccw.

I now have shot hundreds of rounds through my Max9. It has functioned perfectly with all kinds of ammo, including hollow points. This is a very reliable handgun and excellent for concealed carry. At Vance Outdoor's price, it is a great value.

Extremely reliable, accurate, and price-efficient. I have never been so happy with a firearm purchase. I have taken it to the range numerous times, and it has been nothing but accurate up to 50 yd. Anything closer is guaranteed. Fits great in the hand, even with larger hands. I’m about 6'2", 280 lb, and with the extended magazine it is very comfortable. Would recommend for anyone to use as their daily carry.
