(5 out of 5) American Tactical AR Pistol

For the price, you can’t beat it one of my most proud purchases.

(3 out of 5) Meh...

It is not a bad pistol platform AR, however it is far from even remotely being considered lightweight according to the description. My biggest quarrel with this Alpha Maxx is it is supposed to be an AR platform. It even uses 5.56 NATO rounds. Yeah, getting rid of the blade and putting on an actual butt stop that is somewhat adjustable is more of a hassle. You have to replace the buffer tube as well because nothing fits it even though it's supposed to be an AR platform. I've tried three different bump stocks from three different companies they fit on my other AR style pistol but not even close to this one. Other than that it's a decent arm.
