The UPS-S™ Ultimate Takedown Pin Set is a precision-machined AR15 receiver upgrade designed for enhanced durability, improved handling, and simplified installation. Manufactured on Swiss-style CNC turning centers from 17-4PH stainless steel in H900 condition, this set delivers high strength, corrosion resistance, and consistent performance under demanding conditions.

The patent-pending UPS™ system enables tool-free installation and removal of the pivot pin through a specialized ramped groove design that controls detent engagement and retention. Aggressively crenulated pin heads improve grip and handling, while the included RTT™ rear pin removal tool provides additional installation support.

A secondary QUICKSAFE™ configuration feature is integrated into the system design, allowing the pin system to be configured in a way that restricts receiver assembly when intentionally set up in that mode.
