The XS Sights R3D 2.0 Night Sight Set delivers a traditional 3-dot tritium sight picture with a vivid green front lamp, designed as a direct, drop-in upgrade for Sig, Springfield, and FN 509 series pistols.
The second-generation R3D 2.0 raises the bar with rear tritium lamps rated 50% brighter than the original R3D, while the front sight is dual-illuminated with a glowing green tritium insert that draws the eye for fast day and night acquisition. The rear blade carries a blacked-out, serrated finish that cuts glare and increases contrast against the front post, helping the shooter lock onto the front sight under stress or in low light.
Built on a rugged steel body finished in low-glare Black Oxide, the set drops into the slide dovetail with XS's EasyPress system: no gunsmithing, no filing, and no hammer required. The rear notch measures 0.170" wide for a precise sight picture that pairs cleanly with the brighter front post.
This model fits the Sig P320, P365, P225, P226, P228, P229, SP2009, and SP2340, plus Springfield and FN 509 pattern pistols. The tritium lamps provide a self-illuminating aiming reference without batteries, ready for any lighting condition.
